      Also, your description of Londo reminds me very heavily of another DS9 character. I won't say who, in the interest of avoiding spoilers, but my god, your description, almost word for word, could be describing a DS9 character.

      This is why I think you'll like Babylon 5. It's amazing how much we love these two shows that share so much in common and yet are very distinct entities.
